I am a pottery based mixed media artist based out of Loveland, Colorado. There are so many experiences and creative journeys that I bring to the table and try to incorporate into my functional art pieces, therefore forming a diverse body of work.
Many of my forms have feminine forms and have adornments and/or glazes that have interesting nuances when combined. While the art I make seems delicate, many components are chosen and decisions are made for durability. My goal to incorporate the interplay of durable function and delicate beauty in the items I make. I also strive to elevate the conventional item to a higher status and preciousness, often classifying my adorned bowls as “Blessing Bowls,” vases as “Goddess Vases,” and so forth.
