I am a Loveland painter, and primarily focus on painting landscapes, from tiny to huge, from near and very far away.
I paint in a bold realistic style, pushing color and unusual composition. I am fascinated by the beauty we pass by hiking or walking in the blink of an eye. I seek to capture the beauty in those blink of an eye moments, I want that moment to stick in our memories. I was classically trained studying the human figure in art school, and this has informed my landscapes for decades, but recently I have returned to painting the figure and animals, a vital part of my search. I want to share this with you at the loveland Studio Tour. come and enjoy the work!
