I am a community based public artist living in Loveland, Colorado. I have a studio at Artworks Center for Contemporary Art with thirty studio mates and two galleries.
My work engages the community by offering opportunities to paint and engage with others in a way they can’t find elsewhere. I love to activate unheard voices using the visual language of mark making, color, and design. Childhood trauma opened a door to the visual language for me and helped me communicate during a time when my range of vocabulary couldn’t keep up with my experiences. I still feel that my preferred language is art and I love to share technique with others. I teach Intuitive Abstract Painting workshops through Airbnb.com and I teach project based silversmithing too!
