My goal as a photographer is not to record but rather to interpret and evoke. I make no claims to accurate depiction of a scene or situation. The purpose of my art is to represent what I envisioned when I “saw” my subject. I work in both color and black & white, in traditional photographic mode as well as digital remastered techniques, all depending on the subject and the mood it creates in me.”
Now retired, Gordon is finally in a situation where he can rediscover himself and explore new areas that he had never found time for while producing work for others. He has also returned to his roots and once again is adding black and white images to his already-existing color portfolio.
