2022 Studio Tour Artist Resources

Part of our job as a non-profit organization is to support you and give you guidance so you can have the most successful tour possible.   A successful tour doesn't just happen, it requires some strategy, planning, and knowledge.   You already know how to make great art, but if you are feeling a little unsure about how to share your work, prepare your studio, invite people, and help casual visitors move to serious buyers, we have you covered.
Calendar of Important Dates
  • Aug. 29 – Map and Web ready for Artist Review
  • Aug. 30 – Artist corrections due back to Jill
  • Aug 31 - 9 am-11:30 am. WORKSHOP: "Preparing Your People to Buy" with Amelia Furman. Location: LIncoln Gallery 429 N LIncoln Ave
  • Sept. 10 – Pastels on 5th -- Tour will be advertised here
  • Sept. 22 –NINE dot ARTS virtual presentation at 10am via zoom
  • Sept. 27 – Museum art drop-off and artist ‘party’ 10am-noon

  • Oct. 1 Opening Reception at the Loveland Museum 1pm-3pm
  • Oct 8-9 and Oct 15-16 Tour Dates  -- 11am-5pm daily
  • October 14 – Night on the Town – 2022 LAST artwork/artists featured 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • ​Nov. 8 -- Museum Pickup 10am-Noon

"Prepare Your People to Buy" 
​How can an artist help an art admirer become an art collector?  While every artist needs to use their own style, there are a few principles that consistently help fans of  art turn into buyers of art!  Amelia will be sharing from her 15 years of customer service experience that spans not only art, but credit card sales, retail and more. During this in person workshop, Amelia will present her do's and don'ts for the tour and give artists time for application, discussion, and Q and A.

"Pro Tips for the Best Studio Art Display"
​Please join Denise Joseph (curator) and Valeria Serrano (associate curator) of NINE dot ARTS for an engaging discussion on furthering your professional practice. We'll discuss tips for working with an art consultant and how to be prepared to sell your work in a commercial capacity. Additionally, tips for setting up your studio space to create an experience for collectors will be shared. The 1-hour session will wrap with a Q&A.
