Jewelry
I was born and raised in Spencerport, near Rochester, NY.
I moved to Loveland, Colorado in the late '70's
I have an Associates Degree in Graphic Design
Ever since I can remember, I have been creating art. My favorite objects were outdoors. I used milkweed sap as glue and would paste flower petals to the house or anything that looked good to me. I'm sure my parents were happy when that phase ended. In my preteens my grandmother gave me a box of jewelry. I was in love with the contents! Some of the items were broken, but I would put them together the way I thought they should be. Thats when my passion for jewelry design began!
I have explored many mediums since those days and I believe I have found my niche in handcrafted jewelry. I have made jewelry for many years, but didn't start selling my pieces until 2003.
The jewelry I make is an extension of my love of design, yet I want the pieces to be wearable. People have asked me where I get my ideas. Usually, it starts with the beads or a color combination that I see. Then I can go on to the designing of my piece.
I guarantee my jewelry and I do my utmost to ensure each piece will last for many years and hopefully generations.
