"Peaceful places" is the theme of most of Mary Giacomini�s artwork. She paints scenes she feels good about and would like to return to. Often the subject matter are locations within Rocky Mountain National Park since she lives and works in Loveland, Colorado.
Mary works in a variety of mediums: oil, pastel, watercolor and some acrylic. She has been accepted into some prestigious national shows: Arts for the Parks mini 50; The Richard Schmid Fine Art Auction, The Art Association of Northern Colorado�s National Shows, just to name a few. She has been part of a portrait drawing/painting group in Loveland for the last few years just to improve her drawing skills.
Mary earned a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Minnesota. She has been a professional artist since the late 1990�s; selling her work through a variety of galleries, shows and online sites. She also teaches art classes to both adults and children for the City of Loveland.
