I started making art early in childhood and was encouraged by my family, friends, and art instructors to keep it up. I took as many art classes as possible every year to help prepare myself for college. Since graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Wyoming in 1995, I have been a professional, full-time artist and have owned my Loveland studio since April of 2001. I stay busy with competitions, commissions, art shows, as well as, donating 3-4 pieces of art to charitable causes every year.

Surrealism and abstract expressionism are the styles of art that I tend to gravitate toward the most. However, I have a strong appreciation for representational art that allows an artists soul to shine through in its form. My creativity toggles among these styles as I enjoy allowing myself to be spontaneous with my mood and feelings when in the creative process. I enjoy exploring the known symbols of life and the unknown images of the subconscious mind.
